New Content ItemGuangde has been the Editor of BMC Emergency Medicine since 2016 and is based in the Shanghai office. Before joining BMC, Guangde received his BSc in theoretical physics from Nanjing University, China and his PhD in quantum chemistry from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. After graduation, he returned to China as an assistant researcher investigating the growth of composite membranes for water processing, before moving on to study the growth of solid tumors using computer simulation. His interest then turned to medical science and he worked as medical editor for a number of years before joining BMC as an editor of the BMC series.

Dr. Richard Bradley is a board-certified emergency physician and emergency medical services physician with extensive experience in disaster response and pre-hospital care. He is the Director of Medical Response Services for the Texas Division of Emergency Management, leading statewide medical initiatives and coordinating emergency response efforts. Dr. Bradley is also a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine, mentoring future physicians and contributing to academic research in emergency and disaster medicine. Additionally, he serves as the State Air Surgeon for the California Air National Guard, overseeing the medical readiness of service members and ensuring effective medical support during emergencies. With a distinguished career in emergency medicine, disaster response, and military service, Dr. Bradley is dedicated to advancing emergency medical services and improving patient care in high-pressure environments. His leadership and expertise have a profound impact on healthcare systems, emergency preparedness, and military medical operations.

Ardavan Khoshnood, MD, PhD, SkÃ¥ne University Hospital at Lund, Sweden
New Content ItemDr. Khoshnood received his medical degree in 2011 and his PhD in 2017. He is currently an associate professor of emergency medicine at Lund University. He is also a clinician working at the Skane University Hospital Lund, Sweden. He also holds advanced university degrees in political science as well as criminology.
